Open LLM Flashcard Generator and Importer for AnkiDroid

Creating high-quality flashcards from learning materials is time-consuming, which limits wider use of spaced repetition. This project will build an open-source, end-to-end flashcard pipeline for AnkiDroid: a Python system that turns notes, Markdown, and PDFs into Basic flashcards using local open LLMs, plus a lightweight Android importer that fetches those cards over LAN via QR code and adds them into AnkiDroid through its API. Deliverables include the generation UI and pipeline, structured JSON/CSV export and validation, QR-based sharing, the importer app, and tests and documentation.
