Apache Mahout: Automated API Documentation Pipeline for Qumat & QDP

This project aims to implement an automated documentation workflow for the QuMat (Python) and QDP (Rust) interfaces. By using Sphinx autodoc and rustdoc, the pipeline extracts documentation directly from source code to ensure accuracy and prevent manual maintenance drift. The generated content is converted into Markdown and integrated into the project's Docusaurus website to provide a unified user experience. The proposed 12-week timeline covers API auditing, multi-language integration, and versioning based on Git tags. A functional prototype has already been developed to demonstrate technical feasibility.
