Tarunya Webiu Propsal

WebiU currently relies on request-time GitHub API calls with in-memory caching, which limits scalability and leads to redundant API usage. This project proposes an event-driven, serverless architecture using GitHub webhooks, queue-based processing, persistent storage, and distributed caching to efficiently aggregate and serve repository data. Additionally, lightweight AI features will be introduced to generate repository summaries and improve project discoverability. The final system will significantly reduce API usage, improve performance, and enable WebiU to scale to larger repository ecosystems.
