istSOS Metadata Connector for Data Spaces and STAC

A fundamental gap in the OGC SensorThings API ecosystem is addressed by this project: istSOS4 can serve rich sensor data, but it is difficult to find that data outside of its own API. This project aims to create a lightweight metadata connector that extracts data from istSOS4, transforms it into DCAT-AP 3.0 and SpatioTemporal Asset Catalog(STAC) formats, and exposes it through simple REST endpoints (/stac, /dcat). As a result, istSOS4 deployments are searchable, interoperable, and simple to integrate with contemporary data platforms and geospatial tools thanks to a plug-and-play service.
