About this project

Description from the program archive

This project aims to improve the testing framework for IntelOwl analyzers by transitioning from the existing monkeypatch-based approach to a more structured unit testing strategy using Python’s unittest framework. The project will be executed in three phases. The first phase will focus on creating a prototype of the new testing model, implementing unit tests for a few analyzers. The second phase will involve writing unit tests for all analyzers and removing monkeypatching. Finally, in the last phase, we will document the new testing system to ensure clarity and ease of use.
